  • My sessions are for fun, laughter, playing and cuddling. These are the moments I love to capture for you. All you need to do is show up & have fun, I will take care of the rest.

    Prior to your session I will send through a styling guide to assist with your pre-shoot preparations.

  • To secure a session, a non-refundable $100 retainer is required within 48 hours of the invoice being sent. Once received, this secures your date.

    The remaining balance on your invoice is due 7 days prior to the session date.

  • You are best to book your maternity / newborn session when you know your due date. I schedule the session when baby is between 7-20 days old, so they are nice and sleepy, and we can adjust once baby arrives.

  • Sunset sessions generally commence 60 minutes prior to sunset.

    In home sessions are generally done mid morning.

    Sunrise sessions commence as the sun is rising.

  • This is completely up to YOU! I am guided by the preferences you have for a location, when browsing my gallery, if you prefer a beach / cliff location, we will do that! Or if you want bush / forest, we will do that! It really is subjective and I want to work with you on the decision. Should you have a special location in mind, I will happily go and recce the location prior to our shoot, to ensure our shooting time is not compromised with getting to know an area.
    NOTE: Travel costs will incur if beyond the Darwin / Palmerston / Howard Springs area.

  • Let your kids know what to expect before the shoot, discussing the plans with them “We will be going to (location) tonight and someone will be taking photos of us while we are there.”

    Let them be kids! I want to capture you and your family in your truest form, enjoying the moment together, many laughs and genuine emotion. I want to see their little personalities beaming through.

  • I will always, always lean towards neutral / earthy tones.

    Once you have paid your retainer and we are booked in, your client portal will have my comprehensive client guide, in there you’ll find some handy tips for colours you could incorporate. I will also send you a PDF showcasing my client wardrobe options available for you to use.

    If you’re wanting to wear a new gown, or don’t want to spend $$ on one that will only be worn for your session, I can highly recommend Mama Rentals (@mamarentals) for beautiful gowns. I have a code for 15% off your gown hire, if you choose this option. Just ask!

  • Yes! I can absolutely assist you with styling yourself / your family for your shoot. What you wear for your session will play a big part in the overall look and feel of your images. Once you have confirmed your booking, we can discuss further!

  • Ah yes… Rain. All too common in Darwin, and so unpredictable during the Wet Season. Should there be rain forecast for your afternoon session, we will postpone and reschedule to a later date.

  • On completion of your session, your online gallery will be sent to you for image selection, within 3 weeks, final selected images to be delivered within 4-5 weeks.
